Slimming Club
The Project
To originate the detailed programme for a new slimming club and to implement the programme in partnership with an exercise instructor.
What we did
Azmina and her team of weight loss nutritionists devised a 10-week slimming club based on NICE guidelines for weight management. Each week consisted of interactive group work with visual displays of foods, quizzes and lively sharing of ideas. A buddy system was implemented to encourage group support and SMART goals and behaviour change strategies were incorporated.
