British Dietetic Association

Azmina was elected to be Chair of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) PR Committee in 2001 and was a member of the BDA Executive Council from 2001-2004. She is a national BDA media spokesperson and is a regular BDA expert for the press and broadcast media.

She was awarded the BDA Roll of Honour Award 2009 for her work on the non-commercial online resource, The Ismaili Nutrition Centre. Her biggest recognition by the BDA came when she was asked to deliver the prestigious Elsie Widdowson Lecture at their 75th anniversary conference.
